As we itch up closer to his due date which is only 3 weeks away we are still short a little funding... I have had some ask if they can donate so I have put the donate button back up. I would also like to THANK Lou and Muriel for handeling this raffle and the Sweet, Sweet People who donated items. We were able to raise $902.67, Which blew my family away....We feel so blessed!

We are Lou & Muriel, friends of Farrah and fellow adoptive mommies. We are so excited for the Reaver family and their new addition due in August. We know first hand how costly an adoption can be, and we felt called to help. We don't have a lot of time to raise lots of money! Muriel and I have hijacked Farrah's blog for this. We are praying that this will bring the necessary funds to complete Conner's adoption. We are also all praying that this adoption is completed successfully, and there is no reason to believe it won't. We do all know that things sometimes happen, and adoptions aren't completed. If this happens ALL proceeds from this will go into a designated fund to help finance another adoption. If there is no other adoption ALL proceeds from this will go to the El Amor de Patricia , a home for vunerable children in Guatemala. In addition, if this raises enough to cover the adoption with funds left over, every dollar over the adoption costs will go to El Amor de Patricia. We thank you for helping our friend, and the Reaver family thanks you from the bottom of their hearts. Let's all work, and bring this baby home!

We have some big plans for a yard sale....we have placed ads on Criagslist to receive donations to sell.. Jed is collecting Aluminum for Scrape, I'm selling clothes on Facebook & Ebay.. And Lou Lou is going to organize a hugh raffle sometime next week..This is Amazing.

I can see GOD working all over this, I can see his hands holding mine..this has put a whole new perspective on my heart for GOD. without him & you this would not be happening....

I know I have alot of friends out there & my family too, If we could get 100 people to donate $50, Just $50......I know I would do it for other families adopting, Matter of fact I have. I have donate to other family's recently.. Could you do this, Could you donate $50 to help our son come home when he is born. I don't like asking for this, but could you think of a better cause to spend $50???

That is one meal out for a family of 4, That is a Mani & Pedi for 1, That is a trip to the movies for 2....Could you pass up one of these mild luxeries to help us acheive our dream??

So it's happening, It's really happening....

Our son is being carried in him birthmoms tummy right now. He is due Aug.23rd and we are beyond excited. Didn't know we would find him in our Own Backyard..

Since this was such a surprise we need help now more than ever to make this a reality. See our boy is due in 7 weeks and we don't have but about $1700 of the $7500 we need...

We are having yard sales, raffles, and we will accept donations... I have stuff listed on Ebay right now user ID jed285, and I have clothing available on my Facebook. Please help us make this real. We would like to thank you in advance if you choose to help my family.

Well I have nothing to report on yet, The home study is being updated right now! And I am searching for Expectant Moms....This is fun, but nerve racking also.

Genesis and Madisyn are doing really well, Madisyn ask me everyday when she will have a baby sister/brother. She doesn't consider Genesis a baby since Genesis can do everything Madisyn does and stays right up there with her. It is so sweet to watch them play together. What a Joy!
Madisyn will be 4 in four weeks, Can someone tell me how that happened?? Just 4 years ago today we were sitting at the USCIS office waiting to be fingerprinted for her adoption. =)

Everyone know that adoption shouldn't be based on money but we all know it is, and sadly not everyone has thousands sitting in our bank account. I want to share with you all something that I think is truely amazing....There are alot of families out there that would love to adopt children they just don't have the extra funding to actually do the adoption. So take a look at this, and tell me YOU don't think God had his hands all over this!!!

Tracie Loux shared with us an Emergency adoption situation where someone said YES to life... They needed $14,500 to complete the adoption of a 2-day old DS baby boy...182 donated, More than half donated under $30....Within a weeks time they raised the $14,500 for this precious (JONAH) to go home with his parents...Every small donations counts, EVERY Penny counts =)

Can you help us reach our goal...We want to do a private adoption for a newborn...we figured with the attorney's help we need about $8,000...That is 100 people giving $80....Or lets half that would be 200 people giving just $40...

Is it time for number three....Our last/Final Adoption I think

So we are both ready to start number 3, Our homestudy is already being updated and I'm searching already for private birthmoms...I really like this route because your not throwing money out to an agency. Have two failed adoptions already, we will be extremely careful and Madisyn being 4 it is very important to us to find the right person so she doesn't get hurt either.
We want a very close connection with the birthmom this time, I want her to feel like part of our family! I will use this blog as my journal during this process.
Both girls are doing well, getting big and growing up! We really really want a boy, but what God blesses us with will be just fine.
